Ensemble easy to maintain after a little preparation. Programme note: The piece was written for a celebration in the town of Lunel in the south of France. The emblem of the town consists of the moon and stars. The piece was written to be performed in the sonorous environment of a swimming pool. Performed by the London Chamber Group at BMIC in 1997, at the Bromley Festival in 1998, at the Conway Hall in May 1999, and at The Carnegie Library, June 1999. Availability: From the composer |
