Composer: Daryl Runswick Title: skreemin Instrumentation: 4 cl, or 3 cl + Bcl Duration: 4 minutes Difficulty: Moderate Technical Issues: The opening section is very fast, with fragments played in rhythmic unison. There are then passages where short fragments should be played in random order, with gaps between, and rapidly ascending phrases played independently. Full instructions on how to perform the piece are given in the score. Programme note: The piece is dedicated to Keith Robinson, who teaches music at a secondary school in Cheshire, and it is intended for players from scholl standard upwards.
