Composer: Paul Burnell Title: The Secret Life of Oodle-Oodle Instrumentation: 3 Bb clarinets, bass clarinet Duration: 5 minutes Difficulty: Moderate to harder Technical Issues: The piece consists mainly of short repeated fragments, with semi-quaver motifs bouncing from one instrument to another, a slower moving central passage, and then more fast repeated material. It involves rhythmic key clicking. Programme note: "Search within the shell of a machine undertaking repetitive tasks and perhaps you'll find something unpredictable, illogical, emotional."
