Composer: Mel Green Title: nothing can be created out of nothing Instrumentation: Flexible - four melody lines Duration:Difficulty: Moderate Programme note: nothing can be created out of nothing is a continuous set of short variations on the opening chords. Written for a flexible ensemble, there is no certainty of the timbre of the instruments, so I have chosen to control other elements more than I usually would, particularly the dynamics, and given more prominence to rhythm.
