Composer: Alan Taylor Title: Countdown Instrumentation: Flexible - one high, one medium, one low instrumental line, as many instruments per line as you like. Duration: 2 minutes Difficulty: Basic amateur Technical Issues: Will need a conductor, since they are part of the performance. Programme note: Countdown was written in response the the request by the Ensemble Decadanse for miniature pieces to be played in the Millennium year. It consists of eleven ten-scond pieces, to be played as a sequence. It ws premiered by them in May 2000 in Montpelier, and performed again in Paris in 2004. Availability: from Alan Taylor |
