Composer: Louis Andriessen Title: Je Vois une Ortie dans L'Herbe Instrumentation: One line played by as many instruments as are available. Difficulty:Moderate Programme note: The piece is one of the participatory pieces written by Andriessen. All players play the same line of music, at their own speed, ambling along as they choose. There are two points at which they assemble, and at one point they play loud chords - the 'ortie' presumably. The piece is dedicated to Tom Johnson. |
