Composer: Carl Bergstrom-Neilson Title: Towards and unbearable lightness Instrumentation: Entirely flexible Duration: Variable Difficulty: Basic amateur upwards Technical Issues: The score piece of this piece is a graphic representation of a journey from heavy dark sounds to light sounds. Players progress at their own rate through the spiral representing this change, loosely coordinating with the other players. Programme note: Carl Bergstrom-Neilsen is a Danish composer and improviser who teaches at Aalborg University. The piece was performed by the London COMA ensemble in December 1998, at Morley College, London. |
