Composer: Alan Taylor Title: Conversation IV Instrumentation: Bb or Bass Clarinet, and Piano Duration: 5 minutes Difficulty: Harder Programme note: Conversation IV was written for in 2005 in response to a call for pieces. Conversations I, II, and III were, respectively, for clarinet quartet, recorder and piano, and viola and piano. The piece consists of a dialogue between two contrasting musical ideas and the two contrasting instruments.
