Composer: Pat Livingstone Title: Fragments Instrumentation: For Wind and String Duodecet Duration: 7 minutes Difficulty: Moderate amateur Technical Issues: Conductor needed Programme note: Fragments was written at the end of the summer in 1995, on returning from a beautiful sunny week in Aldeburgh. Pat describes the sounds as having welled up inside her, and having written the piece at great speed. Recent performance of her music have taken place in Edinburgh, Canada, Spitalifields, and Worcester.
