Composer: Frederic Inigo Title: Departs epars (Scattered Startings) Instrumentation: Soprano Saxophone, cello, piano Duration: 10 minutes Difficulty: Moderate Technical Issues: The piece consists of alternative movements for trio and piano solo. The piano solos can be omotted in performance if preferred. Programme note: This piece was conceived to be played between readings of various texts about art (by Sollers, Merleau-Ponty, Foucault. . .) during the vernissage of an exhibition of contemporary art in October 1999, in Nimes. It was played by Trio Decadanse : Cecile Gautheron, soprano saxophone; Christine Radais, cello; Frederic Inigo, piano. As a musical work, it can be considered as a (quite) classical Suite en trio.
