Composer: Alan Taylor Title: Conflict? Resolution? Instrumentation: Flute, Violin, Clarinet, Cello Duration: 5 minutes Difficulty: Harder Recording MIDI Programme note: The piece pits two groups of instruments against one another, and alternates sections where one group plays across the music being played by the other, with sections where melodic phrases are passed between the instruments. These ideas are then developed to the end of the piece - a conclusion?.
