Programme note:
Pat Moss was born in Sheffield, and has had a long teaching career, finally specialising in music. She is a passionate chamber music player, and has written works for brass and wind chamber groups as well as for string groups. Her Suite for flute and strings was taken on an overseas tour by Bushey Symphony Orchestra and performed several times. Her Ode - The Three Little Pigs, for Cello and narrator, was performed by the group, Gemini, at the 1997 COMA Summer School. The String Quartet was performed at BMIC in December 1997 by the London Chamber Group.
