Composer: Keith Williamson Title: Jay Jay Instrumentation: cl, vln, vln, vla, vlc Duration: 4 minutes Difficulty: Harder Programme note: The piece consists of two subjects each played separately, then later played together simultaneously. The first subject is played on clarinet over jazz like rhythms followed by the second subject which is of a more introverted nature. A short interlude follows on strings alone after which the two subjects are played together, clarinet / viola and 1st violin / cello respectively. The effect is of two people arguing .
