Music archive entry

Inspired by David Bomberg's painting "The Mud Bath"(1914), Dirty is raucous, blatant, raw, and non-sensical on the one hand; clean, pure, and precise on the other. The musical materials are fixed objects, resembling blocks of color, and are moved intact around the musical space in a variety of ways. As a result, though the musical objects in Dirty are fixed, our perception and understanding of them shifts due to the changing relationship between both the objects themselves and the space around them.
