Amateur composer, pianist, mostly self-taught. Son of professional violinist. Worked with local actors and musicians. Some study with local composers, including Jasper Rooper. There are four short movements. The two middle movements, one slow and sad, the other quick and cheerful, are preceded and followed by fanfares. The first fanfare combines diatonic and chromatic passages. The second fanfare groups the instruments variously in carefree and serious mood and then tries to get them all to resolve their differences.
