	Performances The London Chamber Group was formed in 1996, and since then it has organised 17 Music Parties, given 11 concerts, and played at 5 workshops for composers. The performances have been at the: Premiered a set of pieces written for us by members of Forum Composers Group, at the 2006 All Ears Contemporary Music Festival Performed at 4 more Music Parties in 2005, playing pieces from Piece of the Year Competition 2005 Performed at 4 more Music Parties in 2004, playing pieces from Piece of the Year Competition 2004 Awarded a grant by Making Music and London Arts for the Piece of the Year Competition 2003 Performed pieces from that Competition at Music Parties in June, July, September, and November 2003 Music Parties in April, June, July, September, and October 2002 Music Parties in June, July, September, and November 2001 Concert at BMIC, December 2000 Six hour performance at the Open Day of the British Library in September 2000 - Music in Place Concert at the Conway Hall, May 2000 Concert at the British Music Information Centre, December 1999 Performance of two clarinet quartets at the London COMA Summer Concert, July 1999 A concert of string quartet music as part of the Bromley Festival, June 1999 Concert at the Conway Hall, May 1999 Concert at the Conway Hall, November 1998 Performance in a concert in the Docklands Festival, 1998 Concert at the Conway Hall, June 1998 A concert of Clarinet Quartet music as part of the Bromley Festival in May 1998 Concert of pieces by Forum London Composers' Group, May 1998 British Music Information Centre, December 1997 Docklands Festival, July 1997 British Music Information Centre, November 1996 The workshops have taken part in March 1997, with Michael Finnissy October 1997, with Daryl Runswick March 1998, with Stephen Montague October 1998, with Priti Paintal Opera workshop for Forum London Composers' Group, March 2000 Grants awarded In 1996 the Group was awarded an Arts For Everyone grant by the English Arts Council In 1998, 1999 and 2000 the Group was awarded grants by the Performing Right Society Foundation. In 2000 it was awarded a grant from the NFMS/London Arts Board Special Awards scheme to wards its Music in Place project.
