Forthcoming Events
On September 27th we will be giving a concert of pieces from our workshops this year:
- Entries in our PIECE OF THE YEAR Competition for student composers - the audience will vote to choose the winner. The three pieces selected through a vote by our players at our workshop in March are:
- Partita for Small Orchestra, by William Gibson
- A Hasty Journey, by Dominic Irving
- Dew and Thunder, by Edward Nesbit
- The best rated pieces from our open call for scores.

Autumn Concert 2007
Saturday 6th October, St Cyprians, Glentworth St, Marylebone
We played two sets of pieces:
- The best rated pieces from our Call for Scores, by: Giles Skelton, Elizabeth Winters, and John Holland
- Pieces written for our 'Red Earth' workshop, by: Philip Drew, John Holland, George Holloway, Bernard Hurley, Tony Matthews. Andi Spicer, and Alan Taylor
Autumn 2006 concert, St John, Bethnal Green
A concert of pieces drawing on Guillaume Machaut's Mess de Nostre Dame, with pieces by: John Holland, Bernard Hurley, Keith Williamson, Mark Reuter. Matt Dungay, Derek Foster, Keith Walmsley, and Alan Taylor.
Autumn 2005 concert, St Leonard's, Shoreditch
A concert of pieces drawing on John Taverner's Western Wynde Mass, with pieces by Paul Burnell, Ken Edwards, Derek Foster, Alan Taylor, Denis Betro, and Keith Walmsley.
March 2005 concert, St John's Bethnal Green
A concert of music by Forum members, with pieces by Mark Reuter, Cedric Peachey, Alan Taylor, Paul Burnell, Derek Forster, Keith Walmsley, Brian Wilshere, Katherine Allen
To The Edge, November 12th and 13th, 2004
Two performances were given of the opera written by Forum members, and were a great success. We are now looking for opportunities for further performances. Anyone interested please contact Alan Taylor

Members of the Forum Sinfoinetta were be the soloists in a concert of concertante and orchestral pieces by Tara Creme, Paul Burnell, Alan Taylor, Jerry Wigens, David Arditti, Ann Wolff, Cedric Peachey , Mark Reuter, Pat Livingstone

Instrumentation
The Chamber Symphony consists of:
- one each of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, and trombone
- the usual four string sections, and a double bass
- piano
- percussion and timpani
